  • Chief Pathologist December 18, 2018

    The position Chief Pathologist, Samoa will be based in the National Health Services Laboratory, which is the only clinical diagnostic lab in Samoa. The lab is located at the Tupua Tamasese Meaole Hospital (TTMH) in Apia, with a smaller lab at the Malietoa Tanumafili II Hospital (MTII) in Tuasivi Savaii. The main responsibilities for the Chief Pathologist will be to work across the Samoa National Health Services Laboratory, performing or supervising pathology services and building the capacity of local staff in pathology services. The Chief Pathologist Adviser will be accountable to and managed by General Manager, National Health Services on management-related matters and within the management structures overseen by the Manager Laboratory Division and Manager Clinical Services This role is expected to commence in February 2019 for a period of 36 months.

    This role is offered in Tonga. The partner organisation is National Health Service. Assignment duration is 36 months with expected start date being Late February 2019.

  • Procurement Manager December 13, 2018

    The key objective for the Procurement Manager is to support capacity development of the Central Procurement Unit across the entire procurement cycle, and to establish the organisational structure, systems, procedures, resources and expertise necessary to underpin a sustainable and professional procurement and supply chain management function in that operates in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations. This role also supports other GoT line ministries and agencies in procurement processes. You will be accountable to, and managed by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (and Head) of the Central Procurement Unit (MoFNP) This role is expected to commence in late February 2019 for a period of 24 months.

    This role is offered in Tonga. The partner organisation is Ministry of Finance and Sustainable Development. Assignment duration is 24 months with expected start date being Late February 2019.
